Summer Seminar ‘10

DECKER CANYON CAMP, MALIBU
Join our annual summer karate seminar to build strong bodies, minds and sprits through training with Kancho, Shibucho and other top members of Tenshin-Kai dojo.
The convenient campground has shaded areas, running water, parking and coin showers.
We arrive at 6 am on Saturday, training starts at 7 am sharp.
There are three two hour training sessions on Saturday, and one two hour training session and belt exam on Sunday.

WHAT TO BRING:
Karate gi pants and belt, protectors (karate students), t-shirts and clothes suitable for training, jacket or sweatshirt, shoes (for training), tent (unless you plan to sleep in your car), sleeping bag, food (simple items are best), drinking water (at least one gallon per person), utensils, cooking gear (if you own), lantern (if you own), flashlight, sunscreen, bug repellant, hat, towel, personal toiletry items.
NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Only parents and students are allowed to attend. While the seminar is a fun experience, please keep in mind that this is not a social outing, nor a family vacation.

FROM PACIFIC COAST HWY:
Take PCH NORTH to DECKER CANYON ROAD, about 24 miles north of the HWY 101/HWY 10 Interchange in Santa Monica. TURN RIGHT onto DECKER CANYON ROAD.
FROM HWY 101:
Take HWY 101 NORTH to the WESTLAKE BLVD. EXIT (RT. 23). WESTLAKE BLVD. becomes DECKER ROAD. DECKER CANYON CAMP is about 10 miles from HWY 101.
